It’s a lazy day. It is overcast here and I didn’t feel like waking up. I slept till 2pm (as I always do if I can hahaha) and didn’t feel like moving until housekeeping came to clean the room. I then went downstairs to work on the internet for a couple hours and updating my blog (sorry guys for the delay). I would like to take this chance to thank you all for following my blog religiously!
Oh yea and I need to mention that I love my new iPod Nano!! It’s great! Thin and fits perfectly in my pocket. Great for the long train rides around here. Over here, everyone is great at thumb typing. On the train, that’s all people do. Like EVERYONE is doing something on their phone. Listening to music. Chatting. Surfing the Internet. Even watching TV.
The streets and the trains and everything else here are so clean. I thought the US was relatively clean (except Chinatown) when compared to HK, but here it’s just so clean. And the funny thing is that there aren’t that many garbage cans anywhere either.
It was already dark by the time I left home haha. At night, we went to a restaurant nearby Cokurico. They served westernized food like pasta and steaks. I ordered a scallop and mushroom spaghetti and my friends ordered salmon and spinach spaghetti. Sorry I don’t have pictures up as I was too hungry and started eating it immediately since I didn’t have lunch today. At least I have the menu…
It was actually really good though considering that we were in Japan. The pasta was cooked right and the sauce here was relatively light, unlike some restaurants in the US that use a very thick and heavy sauce. I’ll go back again some day and take some pics of the food.

Fettuccine in Cream Sauce with Chicken - plate is smaller than the US, but portion is the same, taste the same, and is much cheaper! Good deal! For less than US$10 (and there's no tips, service charge or sales tax here) you get an appetizer, main course and drink!!!!!!
