15th day - seafood night

It was a rainy day. I woke up after 12 noon and my parents were meeting their friends at this restaurant in Causeway Bay for dim sum. This place is one of the most expensive places to have dim sum, and is very famous for their abalone.

Even the clear won-ton soup is expensive. A pot of high grade (level 1 of 3) is about HK$500 (US$60) just for the broth alone. The dim sum was pretty good but since we were eating with my parents friends, I wasn’t able to take too many pictures LOL…

After that I met up with my friend to do a little window shopping over at Times Square in Causeway Bay. We walked by this sushi restaurant and she told me that there is a line of people regardless of the time of the day. There was a line of people even at 3:30pm when we walked by.

For some reason I had to take a picture of this green M&M X Bossini store crossover storefront display hahaha…

After a bunch of shopping, I ment up with my parents to look at some computer stuff. Since it was Mid-Autumn festival, we went to have dinner together at a restaurant near home. It is a seafood restaurant and what’s so special is that they do not have a menu or prices. Everything is market price. They have a fish tank outside and you are free to pick the seafood you want.

It started with a dish of deep-fried salt & pepper tofu and a dish of deep fried mini-fish.

We then ordered Sharks Fin Soup

Garlic Steamed Prawns

Garlic Steamed Clams

Lobster Baked in a Creamy Cheese Sauce

Steamed Fresh Scallops in Black-bean Sauce

Steamed Fresh Garoupa in Soy Sauce

And finally desert – Fresh fruit, Mango Pudding & Chinese White-Sugar Cake. The food was excellent tonight and VERY fresh and tasty. It’s always nice to have great restaurants around where you live. And don’t ask me how much it cost coz I don’t know…
